ELANA SEGAL, M.S.W., R.S.W.
Elana Segal is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Elana has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and has been practicing as a clinical social worker with children, adolescents, adults and families since 1995.
Elana provides warmth and insight as she works to address difficulties and solve problems. Her clinical experience with various forms of treatment enables her to tailor therapy to best meet an individual’s needs. Elana also has expertise in treating anxiety and depression through use of CBT, and she has seen repeated positive results with this literature supported approach. She is able to practice this approach with adults, adolescents and children. Elana can also incorporate Mindfulness into her work. She has experience supporting Mindfulness practice both with individual clients and in classroom settings with students.
Elana has worked for the Toronto District School Board, Delisle Youth Services, North York Women’s Centre, and the Ministry of Corrections in British Columbia, as well as a number of private schools in Toronto.
Elana also provides consultation to parents, schools and other clinicians.
